Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Request Items that Hollins Doesn't Have
You can request books, films, and articles the library (or Roanoke College) doesn't have via Interlibrary Loan (ILL). We will borrow them from another library, who will send them to Hollins for you.
ILL is a free service. It takes approximately 2-4 days for articles, 1-3 weeks for books and films.
Get To Full Text
This is how you can check for full text, if you find partial article information:
From OneSearch
Make sure you are signed into OneSearch. Search for the article title, or try Find a Journal (in top menu)
From a database (such as EBSCO)
Click on the Find At Hollins link (look for a green/gold button).
Look at the results carefully: does Hollins have the correct year, volume, issue?
Do we have it in print or online (or both?) Do we have it for the year you need?
"Available at Hollins University - HU Periodicals"
Newer issues of journals are in the reading room (1st floor). Older issues of journals are on he ground floor.
If we do not have the specific journal or year
