Virginia Tech's Newman Library: a 50-minute drive away

  • As a Hollins student, you have checkout privileges at Virginia Tech. You may obtain a guest borrower’s card by showing your Hollins ID at the circulation desk in Newman Library. Guest borrowing privileges allow you to check out an item for 30 days, renewable up to 4 times.
  • If you believe that Tech may have resources helpful to you, please talk to me before making the trip.  One of our librarians used to work there and I might be able to assist you before you go (whether by arranging for you to meet with a librarian there; suggesting a database VT offers; etc)
  • To see what they have: Search Newman Library's catalog
