This fall, in the spirit of Transgender Awareness Week (November 13-19, 2021), Wyndham Robertson Library presents the Transgender Awareness Bookshelf. This exhibit of books, plays, articles, and more has been curated to celebrate the presence of transgender and nonbinary people in our communities and shine a spotlight on the important art that people of marginalized genders are creating all around the world. Some titles in this exhibit engage with the transgender experience directly and some do not, but they are all authored exclusively by trans and nonbinary identifying writers.
You can find all the items listed under Books, Plays, & More available for checkout and presented on the display table on the library's first floor from October 18th - December 15th, 2021. Be sure to also head over to the Digital Content tab for articles, interviews, documentaries, and live performances from members of the transgender community, and don't be afraid to reach out with any questions, comments, or suggestions via the Contact tab.
