- FRED: Economic Research DataFRED is an excellent source for U.S. economic data over long periods of time, and to a lesser extent, international economic data.

U.S. Government
- American FactFinderFollow the link to American Factfinder for the most recent decennial census data. Many other data series, including the Economic Census, are also available through this platform.
- Bureau of Labor StatisticsWages, unemployment, occupation, and prices data series
- Bureau of Economic AnalysisAccess BEA's national income account data.
- Economic Report of the Presidentan annual report written by the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers. It overviews the nation's economic progress using text and extensive data appendices.
- Budget of the United States GovernmentIssued by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the Budget of the United States Government is a collection of documents that contains the budget message of the President, information about the President's budget proposals for a given fiscal year, and historical budget information.
