KEYWORD + “Jewish women”

Potential keyword categories

Personal interests: film, sports, literature, activist...

Time period: Talmudic times, Middle Ages, 18th century...

Location: Israel, Europe, California...

Profession: lawyer, scholar, rabbi...

Political movements: emancipation, socialism, Zionism...

Movements or schools of thought: Reform, mysticism, Kabbalah...

Using synonyms is also important. Not returning results for "literature"? Try "author," "character" or "novel" and see if that changes your results.

Remember: The key is to look for notable Jewish women and connect their work to Judaism. You are not looking women who happen to be Jewish.
