Ancient World Magazine is a gently-peer-reviewed publication covering all topics antiquity. Articles submitted are reviewed by the editorial team, and it is strongly encouraged for submitting authors to have an educational background in classics, ancient history, or archaeology - though they do take submissions from those who are simply passionate about the subjects provided they give adequate justification for their inclusion. The editors are ancient historians and classics scholars, and the site is not for profit. This website is a phenomenal source for finding scholars that have been published in periodicals or within books: the articles often link to the authors other published works where they are likely to have expanded upon their article topic. Additionally, the editors have the episodes of their podcast archived on the site.
This website publishes open-access reviews of peer-reviewed scholarship within the Classics field. Individuals with PhD's are invited to apply to review a book from the list on their website, which is subsequently reviewed by the Editorial Team, the heads of which are Clifford Ando and Camilla MacKay, from the University of Chicago and Bryn Mawr College respectively. This website may be especially useful for those who are looking to pull material from newer publications, but are not sure of their quality or relevance, especially if the library may not have access to it yet.
Perseus is a digitized library that contains a massive collection of works from Antiquity that are open access through its website. In addition to works in the original Greek or Latin, they often have several different versions of translations. They have a comprehensive dictionary for searching individual words, and it breaks down the likelihood of each conjugation's definition being the one in use based on its usage frequency. Though it may not be a source containing scholarly research on Classics topics, Perseus may be useful to researchers who are looking to original literature for textual analysis.
