You may be interested in pursuing a particular methodology for your research, your instructor may recommend a methodology. Or you may see references to types of methodologies in the literature you read. The following resources may help you understand what is meant by these methodologies.

The books below are located either online or in our Reference Collection on the first floor. Our reference collection is an excellent place to start your research on any topic. These materials will provide an overview, helping you understand the issues, and often provide a reference list of key sources you might wish to pursue.

Keep in mind:
